Kan Eng, Hat Yai Thailand

Kan Eng, Hat Yai – This was another Chinese-Thai restaurant which we dined while on our holiday in Hat Yai. Most days while walking round the area, we noticed that the restaurant does seem to do a good trade. It was also recommended by a friend who recently went for holiday in Hat Yai. Almost all the dishes comes in either a small or large size. A very business like folder. Rice is charged at 10 BHT per person. The famous dishes are all on the first page but we have got pretty smart at looking at the dishes that the other tables have ordered. Food was amazingly quick. The menu was clearly written in English and also had pictures. I don’t speak Thai but I knew how to point. They were very reluctant about changing the dish and tried to insist that we had it instead.
